What is a house church?
Here at 1Mosaic we believe that the people are the church, not the building. The Greek word “ecclesia” which is translated “church” in the new testament, simply means an assembly. Therefore, when we assemble at our homes, we are a house church. Starting every October and running through May, we assemble once a month in our homes. Each house church, much like the early church in Acts, will “devote themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42) Please consider being a house church shepherd/leader or joining a house church next September.
